Punjab Govt Finance Department Up-Gradation of Class Four
The Government of the Punjab Finance Department has been pleased to announce up graduation of different posts w.e.f 1st May 2023.
According to notification No.FD.PC.41-58/2019 (A) Dated 30th May 2023 Finance Department has upgraded various class four posts.
As per notification Fisheries Supervisor/Lab Supervisor will be awarded BPS 11 which was existing BS 6. Similarly, Fisheries Watcher which was scale No 1 now moved to BPS 9.
Laboratory Assistant which was the existing scale of BPS 5 now moves to BPS 9. Tube well Mechanic/Pump Mechanic/Tube Well Operator/Lift Pump Operator BPS scale was 3 and now upgraded to BPS 7.
The Laboratory Attendant BPS scale was 1 and is now upgraded to BPS 5. All scales shall effective from the 1st of May 2023.
Instruction Regarding Up-Gradation of Posts
The incumbents of the upgraded posts will also stand upgraded and their pay will be fixed at the stage next above their basic pay in their lower pay scale w.e.f 01-05-2023.
In this regard, no premature increment is admissible on the up-gradation of posts in terms of the policy of the Punjab Government.
The expenditure incurred on the above up-gradation of posts shall be borne by the respective Administrative Departments/Attached Departments. No supplementary grant will be issued in this regard.
