Passport Deliver Time in Pakistan Revised Schedule
ISLAMABAD: The DG Immigration & Passports (DGIP) has changed the Passport delivery time in Pakistan. As you know everybody wishes to go abroad for a better future.
So, passport offices are receiving a large number of applications for passports. Therefore The Govt. of Pakistan DGIP has decided to reschedule for passport issuance.
As per the last schedule for passport delivery time in Pakistan, it took up to 10 days for normal category passport, 4 days for urgent passport, and 2 days for fast track system.
But now The Director General of Immigration & Passport has decided to revise the schedule for Passport delivery time in Pakistan.
In this way, a normal passport will be delivered up to 21 days which was previously only 10 days. Similarly urgent passport will be delivered in 5 days. In the fast track system, no changes have been made.
Passport Office Timing in Pakistan
You can apply for a Passport in your regional offices. Most passport Offices in Pakistan have the same opening and closing times.
So, probably Passport Office timing is from Monday to Thursday from 08 AM to 01:00 PM. Similarly, on Friday, you can take service from 08:00 AM to 12 PM. There will be a passport office closed on Saturday & Sunday.
Documents Required For Passport
Applicant must bring himself the following documents to apply for a Pakistani Passport.
1- Passport fee challan evidence (receipt) or e-payment confirmation (SMS/Emai with PSID No).
2- Applicant must have original CNIC/NICOP with a photocopy.
3- Applicant must have a previous passport (if issued) along with a photocopy.
4- If an applicant is a Govt. servant. He / She must have approval (NOC) Non-Objection Certificate from their concerned department.
5- If an applicant has lost his/her passport, He/She must provide a Police Report (FIR) for the loss of Passport in the Police Station.
