How to Make Fry Fish At Home
Making fried fish at home is a relatively easy process. Here’s a simple recipe to follow:
Ingredients:
4-6 fish fillets (such as cod, haddock, or tilapia)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1 cup milk
2 eggs

Instructions:
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using).
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and eggs.
Heat 1-2 inches of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Dip each fish fillet into the milk and egg mixture, then dredge it in the flour mixture, making sure it’s fully coated.
Once the oil is hot, carefully place the coated fish fillets into the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
