The Government of Pakistan Federal Interior Ministry said on Saturday’s meeting that they are not increasing the regular fee for passports but Government is going to fix E Passport Fee in Pakistan 2023. He also said that the simple passport fee in Pakistan is the same as before.

In this regard, 1st category of E-passport belongs to 36 pages, and its issuance period of 5 years.
The normal fee for 36 pages category for E-passport is Rs 9000 and an urgent fee for E-passport for 36 pages is Rs 15000.
Rs 13500 fee is for 10 years 36 pages category as the normal and urgent fee is Rs 22500 for 36 pages E-Passport for 10 years.
Similarly, 2nd category has 72 pages of E-passport. Which has 5 year period for issuance with a normal fee is Rs 16500 and Rs 27000 for urgent.
E-passport 72 pages for 10 years issuance normal fee is Rs 24750 and Rs 40500 for urgent.
All these fees for e-passports are admissible for the Ordinary, Diplomatic, and official categories.
Ordinary Pakistani Passport
Ordinary Pakistani Passports are issued to all citizens of Pakistan who have to complete all codal formalities.
Official Pakistani Passport
Official Pakistani passports are issued to MPA / MNA, Provincial Ministers, Judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan/High Courts, and Officers serving with the Government and proceeding abroad on official assignments.
Diplomatic Pakistani Passport
Diplomatic passports are issued to the dignitaries of the State, Diplomats, and other entitled categories in pursuance of Para-45 of Part-I of the Passport & Visa Manual, 2006. Approval of Diplomatic Passports is the responsibility of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
