1 kg chicken (with bones, cut into medium-sized pieces)
3 tablespoons cooking oil
1 tablespoon ginger paste
1 tablespoon garlic paste
3-4 medium-sized tomatoes (chopped)
2-3 green chilies (chopped)
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1 teaspoon red chili powder (or to taste)
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
Fresh coriander leaves (chopped, for garnish)

Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
Add cumin and coriander seeds and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add ginger and garlic paste and cook for another minute until the raw smell disappears.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 5-7 minutes until they are soft and mushy.
Add the chicken pieces, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala. Stir to combine.
Cover the pan with a lid and let the chicken cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
Add chopped green chilies and cook for another 5 minutes.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
